The purpose of the International Sewing Machine Collectors' Society is to foster the collecting of, and research into, sewing machines.

UK advertisement for the D9 range (August 1st, 1904). A year before the Singer take-over.

  • 9-H-3: long arm; single thread post, hand (portable) machine.
  • 9-H-4: short arm; captive thread post on rear of arm; hand (portable); base with accessory compartment.
  • 9-H-6: short arm; captive thread post on rear of arm; hand (portable); base without accessory compartment.
  • '9-H and F-3' shows the long arm version but with captive thread post above the arm. The machine, with its base, is removable from the treadle table for portability.
