A larger No.1 with roller, vibrating or spring presser (bed 18" long. 10" from needle too base of arm). For tailoring, army clothing, harness making, boot and show making, carriage trimming, etc. Some had vibrating pressers. "Gw. drop feed", or "N.Y. Drop Feed" or wheel feed. Singer's early tension device. Also available with roll presser or combination presser. Some adapted to take waxed thread. Some fitted with "Singer Friction Driving Attachment" (rear view)
